From the archive - Jon Bon Jovi
Here is one of Jon Bon Jovi taken a year ago or so. I haven't posted them on the blog before and they are not in my book but i thought they were worth an airing. They were taken in the rockers London hotel room when he was here on a promotional tour. I thought he looked amazing considering he is in his early 50's.
Transform - Non Surgical
Here are a few images for a recent ongoing shoot for the UK's leading cosmetic surgery firm Transform. The images - all of real patients - are to be used across their web and print material to promote their non surgical procedures. L'Wren Scott
I have had the pleasure of photographing L'Wren Scott on a number of occasions and the news of her untimely death is tragic news. Here are a few of my favorite candid portraits of her take as part of a wider 'behind the scenes' feature on the women on the year awards. Pictured below with Yasmin Le Bon and Stephen Jones.
Back Story - Blade Runner.
In the first of a regular blog feature I pull an image out of the archive and discuss a little of the who, what, when, where and why behind the image.
This Image of Oscar Pistorius was taken in 2012 just before the London Olympics. The commission was for a leading UK sports magazine and I had an hour or so with the star sprinter up at the Lea Valley athletics track in North London. Everyone always asks what he was like. In reality all leading sportsmen that I have met have a similar personality trait; professional yet single minded.
Oscar was very friendly, charming even. A little short tempered at my insistence on getting the blades in all of the pictures “its about the time I put in, not the blades”. I arrived early and checked out the venue for locations. Using a different number of lighting set ups to speed the shoot along and provide a level of diversity in the final set. The images were used on the cover and inside spreads and have been syndicated globally.
Oscars murder charge is set to be heard in South Africa in March.
Northern Italy
A few images form a recent fact finding mission to Northern Italy, close to Venice, to see some high-end eyewear being produced ahead of shooting their campaign images. We saw the whole production process in full swing from design drawings to finished product.

Kite Eyewear Campaign - Behind The Scenes
Recently we have been working on a campaign for Kite eyewear. Shooting in the studio and on location we have been responsible for delivering all of their visual imagery. All aspects of the shoot have been produced in-house from product shots; look book images as well as campaign advertising images. We offered a full production service working along side the company’s creative director Chris Bell. Below are some behind the scenes images from the location day. The final images will be posted over the next month or so.

Grace Dent - Winter Wonderland
Recent spread from ES Magazine featuring food critic Grace Dent's visit to Winter Wonderland. Shooting in the minus 12 degree ice sculpture park tested the battery packs out...as well as our vulnerability to frost bite.
John Griffin
A recent image from a set with John Giffin. John started his company, Addison Lee, from a single taxi in the mid 1970's before selling it last year. We shot this at his wonderful new home overlooking Regents Park. John had a great story to tell not least his wife's emotional reaction when they moved into their gorgeous home a mile or so away from her childhood council flat in Camden. A real gent he turned to my assistants as we left and said: "right who wants a taxi home, my shout".
Jim Broadbent
Oscar winning actor Jim Broadbent photographed at the new BBC Television Center in Central London to promote his new 2 part drama based on the great train robbery of the 1960's.
