Been shooting for a lot for state side publications and organisations of late. Here is a lovely little commission off the rather gorgeous looking Philadelphia Magazine. As a portrait photographer you couldn’t wish for more from a location.
The Elephant
Recent shoot with Fabian Johnson in Elephant and Castle, London. We shot using natural lines and shapes to pick out details and colour. Styling by Hollie Lacayo. The architecture around the Elephant and castle is a dream to any lifestyle photographer and we were spoilt for choice.
Singapore’s CIO
Recent shoot with Singapore’s CIO, Chan Cheow Hoe - shot for Fujitsu. The veteran of Citibank, Barclays, ABN AMRO and CT Corporation set about building digital capability in a government technology organization that had largely outsourced its technology needs. As a commercial photographer Chan proved to be a fascinating subject.

Sir Richard Branson & Ryan Reynolds
Recent photoshoot with Ryan Reynolds and Sir Richard Branson promoting the patnership between Virgin Atlantic and Aviation American Gin. Shot at the Heathrow Clubhouse for Virgin Atlantic/TNR. The pair were dream to work with and would have provided a perfect subject for any commercial photographer.
Cricket Faces
A few more cricket faces from my summer shoot for The ECB which were used on match day programs across the summer test season. Featuring Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root. These were all shot at The Oval in a very fast paced session with the aim trying to get variety in as quick a time possible. As a sports portrait photographer you couldn’t ask for better subjects.

Image of Sanjay Khosla shot for the Harvard Business Review. Khosla spent more than 30 years as Unilever and Kraft; he is now a senior adviser at Boston Consulting Group and made a great subject for me as a portrait photographer.
Bacardi’s UK and Ireland MD
A recent comissions to photograph Amanda Almond, Bacardi’s UK and Ireland MD. Shot at the firms Winchester based HQ. The images will be used by Bacardi for both internal and external communications use. As a portrait photographer its alway good to get some gin tasting in midweek too.
Back to Black
A recent commission to photograph a set of images of Kehinde Andrews; academic and author of Afro-Caribbean heritage. His name Kehinde is a yoruba name of a second born of the twin. He is an associate professor of Sociology at Birmingham City University, the director of the Centre for Critical Social Research, founder of the Organisation of Black Unity, and co-chair of the Black Studies Association. He is "the UK’s first professor of black studies. His most recent book is titled 'Back to Black' and as a portrait photographer is was fascinating to talk to him.
Booking.com
A recent commission which required me to be wear a few hats as both lifestyle photographer and portrait photographer. We were recently up in Manchester for the week, shooting images of employees for booking.com - we used the companies central Manchester offices to provide them with an image bank of key staff members.
Newsweek
Image of Nawal El Saadawi shot for Newsweek; Egyptian feminist writer, activist, physician, and psychiatrist. She has written many books on the subject of women in Islam, paying particular attention to the practice of female genital mutilation. She has been described as "the Simone de Beauvoir of the Arab World". As a portrait photographer you are very lucky to meet some great people and Nawal was right up there.

A little test shoot. Just for kicks. Angie, who works at my local and her tattoos. Hair by Jolanda Coetzer at LHA. I was looking to add to my selection of images as an advertising photographer I was very happy with the outcome.
Benjamin Hubert
Recent commission to shoot Benjamin Hubert of Layer Design in East London.Benjamin is a Product Designer whose studio produces everything from app design to next generation wearable tech. His studio was great to shoot in and as a commercial photographer is was fascinating to see the insides of Benjamins commercial design business.
New Blog
We recently made some enhancements to our blog, moving towards a more visual structure. Have a browse...there are some bits that were previously buried, hopefully it will just make it all a bit easier to walk around. Still a few glitches I’m sure; more past content will be going up over the coming weeks. There is work across the areas I work in as a lifestyle photographer, advertising photographer and portrait photographer.
ECB Match Day Programs
The football is over. Anyone for cricket?....We were asked to get involved with the revamp of match day programs for The England and Wales Cricket Board ; producing all the cover images to drive match day sales and add new life into the publication. These have been rolled out for the summer’s test matches and limited overs games featuring Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy and Eoin Morgan. As a sports portrait photographer you couldn’t ask for a better commission.
Kevin Moyo
A little motion profile piece of basket ball player Kevin Moyo. Shot in Peckham, South London. We loved Kevin's story - he's not the tallest but boy is he fast. Alongside the motion piece we also produced a set of stills. I’m shooting a lot more motion along side my stills work as a sports portrait photographer.
