A recent lifestyle travel shoot in Dubrovnic, Croatia for America Airlines. Shooting in and around the old city just as the recent hot spell started: it was hot. The island of Lokrum just off the city provided some relief from the searing heat and was encharting. As a lifestyle photographer I was spoiled for options; go vist, it’s great.
Gus Poyet
A recent shoot with Gustavo 'Gus' Poyet. The former Uruguayan footballer won the FA cup and UEFA Cup with Chelsea having started his playing career at Grenoble and River plate. He is now manger or Ligue 1 Bordeaux. As a sports portrait photographer you can't ask for a more expressive face; A real gentlemen it was a pleasure to meet him.
UK Public Health Rapid Support
A recent portrait of Dr. Daniel Bausch Director, UK Public Health Rapid Support Team - shot for Northwestern University in the US. Daniel Bausch is the Director of the United Kingdom’s efforts by Public Health England and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to respond and conduct research to prevent and control outbreaks of dangerous infectious diseases around the world. He has over 20 years’ experience in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Asia combating viruses such as Ebola, Lassa, hantavirus, and SARS coronavirus.
Lionesses - England
A recent image of Phil Neville - head coach of the England womens football team the ‘lionesses’. The team had a great run in the World Cup. As well as shooting Phil up at St Georges Park I also photographed key player Fran Kirby down at Chelsea just before she departed for England squad duties. The sports portrait of Fran were shot on the training pitches.
Neymar - Advertising
Recent advertising photography shoot for BBH Shanghai. We were tasked with capturing images of Neymar for popular Chinese beer brand Harbin. The portrait images will be used across China in a range of forms from social to point of sale. As ever a very tight schedule (and an injured ankle) called for some lateral thinking. We shot a number of excursions from traditional sports portraits to more lifestyle photography. Beloware some of the final images, one of the final pieces of artwork, a small behind the scenes time-lapse and some behind the scenes images.
Jonathan Clark
Recent commission to shoot Jonathan Clark President of the Chartered Insurance Institute. We met up with Jonathan at the organisation's central London office and spent an hour shooting formal and more candid imagery. Jonathan was great to work with and any portrait photographer would have loved the job.
Investec Staff Portraits
Using their new city offices as a location a recent shoot for international specialist banking and asset management group Investec. Showcasing staff members from across the business. I’m really happy with the end images as a commercial photographer the staff were wonderful to work with.
New Portfolio
A little video showing my current printed portfolio which we recently updated with new work. New additions include shoots in San Francisco and Paris. We are busy taking it out around town so shout if you want to grab a coffee and look at some pretty pictures. The work in the book cover my work as a lifestyle photographer, advertising photographer and portrait photographer.
Stand Up To Cancer
I’ve recently been working on a lot of aspects of this year’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign. These images featured in the press launch and were widely used across national and regional titles. The theme was centered around rebellion with select celebrities being transformed into their rebel heroes. Kirstie Allsopp turned Queen for a day, Davina McCall portrayed Joan of Arc, Krishnan Guru-Murthy was Jimi Hendrix and comedian Aisling Bea became Princess Leia from Star Wars.
The rest of the imagery, including an OOH campaign will be revealed ahead of the October event. The images got alot of press attention and as portrait photographer thats always very satisfying.

Traveller Magazine - London and Berlin
EasyJet’s in-flight magazine, Traveller, ran a feature on how successful European business individuals kick-start their day. Here are pictures of Patrick Grant and Dominik Tiemann in their most comfortable get-ups. Shot in London and Berlin. As a portrait photographer both of these subjects were a delight to work with.
Sir David Tweedie
I was asked to take some portrait images of Sir David Philip Tweedie, the ninetieth member of Ohio State University’s prestigious Accounting Hall of Fame.
Sir David was knighted in 1994 and has honorary degrees from seven universities in the UK.
This image was shot in the City of London at Instinctif Partners offices.
Robbie Williams
My image of Robbie Williams used by German Magazine Welt der Wunder. Robbie was shot in a blacked-out room at The Langham Hotel in Central London. The image was created using multiple gelled high speed flash pops….As a portrait photographer it was great to work with robbie.
Surfacing - Personal Project
A recent personal project entitled Surfacing. All the models were shot wearing delicate Peter Pan Collars to tie the shoot together. The dark tear was added at the last moment using a acrylic makeup product and allowed to flow. As an advertising photographer its alway good to shoot your own thing.
Gary Lineker
A recent shoot with Gary Lineker shot at the new BT Sport studios at the Olympic Park in Stratford. Two images have been used for two versions of the newly reworked Sport magazine: out TODAY (4th March) across the capital and key transport hubs around the UK. Below are the published covers and behind the scenes pictures showing the set-up used in producing the final images. Gary was great to work with, as a sport portrait photographer you couldn’t wish for a better subject.
Dreamland
A recent commission to capture the colour and characters of Dreamland, a newly reopened fairground – once London’s answer to Coney Island. As a lifestyle photographer I’m lucky to go on a good amount on travel assignments - even to Margate.
Lewis Edwards - Para-triathlete
Another image in the sport uncovered series - with my sports portrait photographer hat on: Lewis says: "I lost my right arm below the elbow in a car crash, and after that I didn’t do anything for three years. It was only when my father said to me ‘I think its about time you did something’ that I decided to take up swimming"
Royal British Legion
I was recently asked by The Royal British Legion to shoot a range of images to be used as part of The Poppy Appeal. These images will be used to advertise the charity's summer events; click 'video' below to see a behind the scenes time-lapse of the shoot. As a portrait photographer who is used to working with big sporting tallent Ronnie was everything you want him to be, fun, humble not taking life too seriously.
Wiggle Campaign
Recent images from a campaign commissioned for Wiggle the UK’s largest online bike and tri-sports retailer. Shot on location at the Olympic park London and in the studio, the print and billboard adverts will form part of a multimillion-dollar marketing drive aimed at increasing penetration in the UK and Australia. As an advertising photographer I could not have wanted for a better team. Thanks everyone.
